Nominations closed - Election announced
The (restarted) nominations for South Central Representatives for South Central on English Council for 2026 closed 10pm December 18th. As the number of nominations is greater than the positions available an election will now take place.
There are 20 seats available as representatives of South Central Liberal Democrats on English Council.
There were 33 valid nominations.
The Returning Officer will be emailing the candidates to advise of election rules and request manifesto submissions for the RO's approval.
Election timetable:-
- Deadline for manifestos to the Returning Officer: 10pm 23/12/25
- Voting opens: 9am 27/12/25
- Voting closes: 6pm 12/01/26

If you intend to vote by post, please contact the Returning Officer. You will need to send her a stamped self addressed envelope to return you a printed ballot paper which you must then return to the Return Officer no later than 5pm on the close of ballots above.
